I recently came across this abandoned flow strategy that’s blowing my mind.

Here’s the deal. If you offer small, light, but high-perceived value products (like cosmetics) you can totally crush it by shipping people a sample pack of your product, for FREE.

you can dramatically improve your abandoned cart rates and increase your chances of success by sending customers a free sample of your product.

This approach allows you to make a killer first impression, build relationships with your potential customers, and ultimately drive sales.

This is exactly how Hard Ketones did it.:

when their customer filed in their address and abandoned their cart, what they did is sent their your product for free, with the following note:

“Hello!
I see you started an order but didn’t get
around to completing it. Since it costs
us $50 to acquire a new customer, I thought
it made more sense to just send you a free
product to try. Hope you don’t mind.
I’m sending one of our two flavors of
Hard Ketones. Real Buzz, No Booze.
Most people need 2 on an empty stomach
to feel it, but thought we would start with
tasting it. Hope you like it! Use code
Frank Freebie for free shipping, I hope
this helps make the decision easier!

“But won’t the cost of shipping all those free samples be too high?” you might ask. So, since your products are small and light, the shipping costs won’t be a major concern. Plus, the high LTV (lifetime value) nature of your products means that you’ll more than make up for the initial investment. Many companies have seen a significant increase in revenue after implementing this strategy!

The cost of shipping one can of our product is just $10. But once people try it, they get hooked and often sign up for a subscription. And get this, their lifetime value of a subscriber is a whopping $3,000!

So, if you can convert just 1 out of every 300 “freebies” into a paying subscriber, you’re already profitable. That’s the power of this abandoned flow strategy.

Think about it – with such a high ROI, it’s a no-brainer to implement this strategy into your marketing plan. You have to test it yourself and track the numbers to make sure it works. Write in the comment if that works for you!

bonus #1: if you want to take it for the next level, you can also send an email asking “what’s your address?, we want to send you something for free”

Bonus #2: you can do the same thing, but in a “free+plus shipping” to earn some extra cash.

Bonus 3: you can even use this approach to reward your loyal customers who haven’t purchased from you in a while. It’s a great way to “wake them up” and get them excited about your new products.fff

That’s it! Hope it will work out amazing 🙂
